ABSTRACT
Chernozems may be associated with Humic-Gley soils, Calcium Carbonate Solonchaks and Regosols and, less commonly, with solonetzic soils. The morphology of these soils, particularly of the Chernozems and Calcium Carbonate Solonchaks, is discussed. Some chemical and physical data are presented.
