Conducting Successful Irrigation Research¹

ABSTRACT

This paper summarizes factors to consider in conducting successful irrigation experiments. Research is considered in three phases—planning of the experiment, conduct of the experiment, and publication of results. Pertinent points relative to these three phases are summarized indicating why each is important and some principles to be followed in each phase.
