ABSTRACT
Descriptions are given of the optical and morphological properties of CaAlH(PO4)2·6H2O, one of five new acidic calcium aluminum phosphates that may be formed by reaction of phosphatic fertilizers with soil minerals. The new salt has a striking resemblance to CaHPO4·2H2O in its morphological and optical properties, but differs markedly in its X-ray powder diffraction pattern.
