A Constant—Head Device for Flow Measurement with Limited Volumes of Solution1

ABSTRACT

A device is described which automatically maintains a constant liquid level in a floating cell from which liquid can be extracted at will. The device is particularly useful in flow measurements through permeameters when the permeating solution is limited in volume.
