A Simple Device for Sampling Ground Waters in Auger Holes1

ABSTRACT

A simple device is described for sampling ground waters from auger holes and shallow wells. This device, which can be constructed from materials found in most laboratories, is capable of lifting water from a depth of 7 to 8 m.
