ABSTRACT
This paper reports data collected to relate some soil-micro-climate interactions. The environmental parameters examined were solar and scattered radiation evapotranspiration, calcium carbonate equivalent, organic matter, and particle size distribution. The data show a strong interaction between slope aspect or direction of exposure and soil properties. The need for careful observation of soil properties below the soil surface in selecting research sites is apparent.
