A Compaction Apparatus for the Preparation of Soil Cores of Different Bulk Densities and Thicknesses1

ABSTRACT

The apparatus reported herein enables one to prepare soil cores with a desirable bulk density and having different thicknesses for use in soil compaction and plant growth studies.
