In our publication, we attempted to both briefly summarize the soil change concept, and to propose a strategy for its eventual implementation in the USA. In our review, we unfortunately omitted a significant contribution to the concept that was published by Yaalon and Yaron (1966). While previously unaware of the Yaalon and Yaron (1966) paper, the authors acknowledge the similar and valuable ideas proposed. Any oversight was not intentional.
