This issue's cover: View of the north slope of Mt. St. Helens taken in June 1981 showing the
pattern of Pyroclastic debris flow.
Most of the tephra on the Spokane Flood Terraces in
Northern Idaho likely were redeposited by erosion similar to that shown on the northern
slope of Mt. St. Helens.
