About the Cover
This issue's cover: A photo of the ridge and slough landscape of Water Conservation Area 3 (WCA-3) of the Everglades. The slough area in the foreground is dominated by a floating periphyton mat and white water lilly (Nymphea odorata) while the ridge in the background is dominated by sawgrass (Cladium jamaicense Crantz.). This photo was taken during the 2003 sampling of WCA-3. Please see p. 1662–1676, “Spatial distribution of soil properties in Water Conservation Area 3 of the Everglades” by Gregory L.
